Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territory is one of the 10 largest lakes on earth and when the local fishermen join forces with an amazing restaurant they present some of the best fresh water fish you will ever eat.
Kudo’s to Kim, Lori and Dragon our three hosts today at Bullocks’ Bistro. Bullocks is a fish shack in Old Town Yellowknife, In the Northwest Territories of Canada. This place is so far north when we were there the sun was shinning 20 hours a day.
We love good food. We love simple food done right. Fresh Arctic Char, Fresh cold water Whitefish and the hospitality of the North West Territories equaled a great meal. The menu is simple Arctic Char, Pickering, Whitefish, and Cod all caught fresh in Great Slave Lake, or a Buffalo Rib Eye. The fish, which is what we are about, is Deep fried, grilled or pan fried. With your fish you get a fresh salad and/or fries.
A simple menu, but food, atmosphere, and service that would blow the socks off of most Fancy Dan restaurants any where in the world.
